Over the last few years, I’ve had the incredible privilege of visiting more than 100 schools, bookstores, and community events. There is nothing quite like the energy of a room full of kids ready to dive into a new story, and seeing a child’s eyes light up as they connect with a character is exactly why I do what I do.
My goal for every visit is to make reading feel like an adventure. Whether I’m speaking to a small group at a local shop or a full assembly at an elementary school, I focus on creating a space where curiosity and kindness take center stage.
What My Visits Look Like
Every event is a little different, but they all share the same heart:
- Interactive Storytime: I love getting the kids involved, asking questions, and exploring the “what ifs” behind the tales I write.
- Behind the Scenes: I enjoy sharing a bit about my journey as an author and host of the Good Morning Stories podcast to show children that they have stories within them, too.
- Tailored to Your Group: From kindergarten classrooms to community festivals, I adjust my readings to make sure the message resonates with the specific age and energy of the audience.
